Wear it Pink
On Thursday 21st October we would like the children to wear something PINK.
In return we would like monetary donations, of whatever you can afford, to go towards Breast Cancer Care. As we are not accepting cash in school, donations can be made through Pay360 Education Payments ( https://www.pay360educationpayments.com) under the events section and Wear it Pink, by Monday 1st November 2021.
This year we are going a little different. In previous years we have sent all the money straight off to Breast Cancer Care, but this year we would like to do something that would benefit more people locally. Many of us, unfortunately, know someone who has been affected by this disease.
We would like to supply "A Hug in a Bag" to ladies and gentlemen who are going through chemo for breast cancer and hopefully spread a little joy in what is sometimes an unpleasant treatment day.
We are hoping to deliver as many bags as possible to the new cancer unit at St Cross Hospital in Rugby and the Arden Centre at UHCW, from all of us at Brownsover Community School.
