Our School Awards

Rugby In Bloom –  Platinum Award

We've done it again - Platinum!! Once again we have been awarded the highest award for our entry in the 2022 primary school category of the Rugby In Bloom Competition.  In the 11 years that we have taken part, this is our ninth platinum award. We were also privileged to gain a Diamond Award in 2012.

Mrs Crane and some of our gardening club representatives have been invited to attend a special ceremony at Rugby Town Hall, to collect our award. Watch this space for pictures!

Food For Life – GOLD Award

We are the first infant school in Warwickshire to achieve a gold award - we are delighted to have achieved this!!

Working together, the collaborative efforts of all of our staff, pupils and local community have positively impacted on the curriculum and have contributed to the development of a forward looking Food Culture in school. We are really excited about further developing cookery skills both in school and the community and continuing to improve the quality of school meals as we  continue to maintain our gold status.

Artsmark Silver
Arts Council England has awarded Artsmark Silver to Brownsover Community School in recognition of the school's commitment to, and excellence in, arts education. Brownsover is part of the 1,676 schools in England who received an Artsmark award this year.

We are delighted that the Arts Council has recognised our dynamic arts education programme. Our children have really enjoyed experiencing a wide range of workshops and creative opportunities. We look forward to celebrating our success and continuing to provide these valuable experiences, and see the children who take part become more self-confident, engaged and excited about learning.
