ILLNESS
If your child is unwell and unable to attend school, please contact us by 9.30 am at the latest to let us know that they will not be in.
You can call the school office on 01788 547660 and leave a message on the absence line (select option 1). Please remember to include your child's name, class and type of illness.
HOSPITAL/DOCTORS APPOINTMENT
Please let your child's teacher or the school office know in writing or provide a copy of their appointment letter letting us know that they will be absent from school for a medical appointment, giving as much notice as possible and please remember to include your child's name and class.
OTHER ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL
The school is not permitted to grant leave requests unless in exceptional circumstances. If this is the case and you need to request time away from school please obtain and complete the relevant form from the school office. Once completed and returned you will need to make an appointment with the Headteacher to discuss it further.
