Happy New Year!
We are all very excited to have the children back in school and are ready for our new topic ‘Amazing Places’.
Pictures from this half terms learning will be uploaded onto the website regularly throughout the half term so please keep checking on there to see the fun we are having in school.
It is very cold now and we will be continuing to use our outdoor area and will be going outside at lunch time. Please can every child have a named coat, hat and gloves in school every day.
PE will continue to be on a Friday so please ensure all children are in PE kit every Friday. PE takes place indoors however, please make sure your child is suitably dressed for PE, outdoor learning and lunch time. School jumpers and long trousers are perfect for this time of year.
Homework will continue to be set on Google Classroom every Friday and is due in on the Wednesday. Please engage with this. The children share their homework with their peers every week so it is important for all children to have the opportunity to do this.
Today all children have changed their books and next week we will be looking at the sound cards, phonic words and word box words.
A final reminder that we are collecting for junk modelling all year so if you have anything we might be able to use then please send it into school with your child.
If you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
